Personal data are all data that provide information about you and with which you are directly and indirectly identifiable.

Data processing purposes

Your personal data are processed by The Visual Theatre to optimise our services to you, our clients. In this case ‘process’ refers to all acts described by the DPA: Collecting, recording, organising, storing, updating, changing, obtaining, consulting, using, transmitting, spreading, making available, pooling, connecting, shielding, erasing and destroying data.

When contacting us via this website, by email or phone, your personal data will be stored by us. This data will not be stored any longer then required, and is used for answering or settling your requests.

Your personal data & third parties

Your personal data are never sent to third parties by us unless, 
i) it concerns a processor employed by The Visual Theatre required to comply with any listed purposes in our privacy policy, but only when an agreement has been made between the processor and The Visual Theatre to ensure ample security of your personal data,
ii) The Visual Theatre is required by a legal provision to provide your data to the competent authorities,
iii) The Visual Theatre is obligated to provide this data to a third party by court ruling.

Safety

We consider it important that your personal data is not processed unlawfully or ‘ends up on the street’. This is why we put to use multiple technical and organisational measures to safely process your data.

Social Media

On our website and through our email correspondence we use social media buttons to refer to the social media LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. These buttons can be used to find more information about The Visual Theatre, or to promote & share information about us on the respective social media. We are not responsible or liable for any of the privacy policies of the aforementioned social media, as they control how these buttons function. By using these social media buttons a ‘social media cookie’ is placed, so you are recognised when sharing information on a platform. Cookies are small textiles stored on your computer. You can remove these yourself if you wish to.

Newsletters

We regularly offer a (digital) newsletter. With this newsletter we wish to inform visitors to our website and any other interested parties about our services. You only receive our newsletter if you have explicitly asked to receive it. The possibility to unsubscribe from this service is provided in each newsletter. The email-addresses we have received in order to send our newsletter will not be used for any other purposes, unless you grant us permission to do so. Without your explicit permission it will not be shared with third parties either.
